The Cassa di Risparmio di Modena Foundation felt the need to acquire a new name and a new visual identity to consolidate a renewed relationship with citizens in relation to the territory in which it operates.
The analysis of the existing and symbolism present in the heraldic shield, associated with the strategic plan and the constant link between tradition and innovation, has allowed the definition of a brand language, built between cultural heritage and modernity, open to inclusion and suitable for become a communication system. A set of simple, recognizable and distinctive traits make up the new identity, and with the renewed name open online and offline opportunities that unite and dialogue between the past and the present, between people and the Foundation.
To renew the institutional identity, we started from the historical pre-existences of the Foundation. Bees, a symbol of industriousness and of perceiving oneself as a community, associated with the historical colors of Modena: blue and yellow.
The will to gather change without losing the roots indicated the direction of the project, aimed at obtaining a simplified, light, dynamic and functional brand. Flexibly open to multi-platform communications.
A NEW IDENTITY TO MARK THE TRANSITION FROM A BANKING FOUNDATION TO A MODENA FOUNDATION’S.
The institutional visual system of the Modena Foundation was born through the redesign of the emblem: the lines are distributed in the space giving rise to a flexible and dynamic language.
Bees are naturally animated, fly, move and aggregate in different configurations creating movement and colorful. This reading gives rise to applications suitable for specific uses (animations, spaces and decorative surfaces).
The visual language is also translated into the new and renewed website. An accessible environment, where the commitment of the Foundation in the area is tangible, thanks to the large space dedicated to the projects, news and places that characterize the Foundation.
